Frequently Asked Questions

Can ScripTalk read all prescription labels?

ScripTalk requires special labels that are used in place of standard prescription labels. The device, or app, works by scanning these labels and reading the information from them– so without the special label, ScripTalk would be unable to scan the information properly. You can ask your pharmacist for the special labels for your next prescription refill.

What if I don’t understand a word that’s included on the label?
Medication names or other words included on the label might be unfamiliar, and if it’s hard for you to see them, you might be left confused about what you’re taking or when. ScripTalk offers Spell Mode, which will spell out a word for you. This can help you look it up or ask your pharmacist if you’re not sure what it means.
Where will the electronic label be located on the bottle?
The label’s location depends on the pill bottle or packaging that your prescription uses. Typically, it’s on the side or bottom of the bottle or box. Be sure to ask your pharmacist if you don’t know where it’s located, so that you’ll be able to access the information!
